Survey and compilation materials of the Transvaal Manoeuvre Area in central southern Transvaal. One map in 2 sheets depicting Potchefstroom and the area within a 15-mile radius. Sheets portray hydrology, relief by spot heights and approximate contours, railways, telegraph lines, roads and tracks, settlements and isolated buildings, fences, farm boundaries and place names. The date end has been derived from the date of issue in the War Office ledger. Based on the published map at WOOS/20/4/1 which it updates. Includes editorial comments by Captain E.W. Cox R.E. A small portion on the western margin on the South Sheet was missing on transfer. Date range based on arrival of 10th Royal Hussars in Potchefstroom and dates of issue in War Office ledger.
